Post Decree Modifications.
After a divorce is finalized there are many situations which commonly arise requiring people to make modifications to their original Marital Settlement Agreement or Parenting Plan. Mediation is often the most productive, cost effective, and satisfying means of negotiating modifications tailored to the needs of both you and your children. We also specialize in modifications where one or more participant has left the geographic area.
Senior Citizen Services.
As our elders go through life changes, families are often confronted with many options and challenges in best determining how to care for family members with dignity. We offer assistance to families with results and productive solutions oriented mediations to help your family with making plans for long term care for an elder, and with resolving intra-family disputes about what is in an elder’s best interest. We also work with families who are in dispute with adult assisted living establishment an elder or family member is in conflict with.
All Clients.
In Family cases, we also provide information about whom to contact in the local court system to incorporate your Memorandum of Understanding into your decree, or modification, if you choose to do so pro se. We encourage all participants to be advised by appropriate professionals before signing any Memorandum of Understanding resulting from mediation. There are free, low cost, and professional services options available to meet these needs locally. We are happy to provide referrals to independent local governmental agencies, attorneys, accountants, therapists and related professionals for such advice.
